Over 350 years old, this stone built traditional Somerset inn is popular with locals and visitors alike. The non smoking restaurant serves both lunches and evening meals. The home cooked dishes are made, wherever possible, from locally sourced produce. There are two bar areas, both with wood burning stoves, and a large secluded beer garden. And of course a must for any village pub is a selection of real ales.

Accommodation is also available in a separate annex. Four recently refurbished en-suite guest rooms are all on the ground floor with colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary toiletries.

Accommodation offered consists of 2 twin bedded spacious en-suite bedrooms, each furnished to a high standard. Each room contains a colour TV and Tea/ Coffee making facilities. The rooms overlook our gardens and grounds with lovely views of the Somerset countryside. The grounds of Abbotsford House nestle beside the river Ding, and extend to 10 acres. We currently run a smallholding, with horses and chickens, as well as an abundance of wildlife.

Shave Farm is a 19th century farmhouse set within beautiful countryside. It is a working farm that offers guests a warm welcome and a comfortable stay with the opportunity to experience farm life.

Our two rooms are ensuite with tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. A large lounge with open fire is available for guests, as is the garden and patio area and hot tub. Breakfast consists of a full English, using only British meat, local produce and our own eggs! There no disabled facilities and no pets or smoking permitted.

Double en-suite: £65.00 per night. Twin/Double en-suite £65.00 per night. Single occupency in the twin: £40.00 per night. Family unit consists of the double room at £65.00 per night, with the twin room next door at an extra £20.00 per child per night; if you have more than two children an extra bed can be added to the twin room. These rooms are on their own private corridor and can be locked, giving privacy and peace of mind.
