In South Somerset is an elegant Victorian hotel owned and run by the Shepherd family for over 40 years. The building with many fascinating features stands in over 2 acres of lawns and shrubberies. The Shrubbery is ideally situated only half a mile from the A303 London to Exeter trunk road, and ten minutes from the M5 motorway at Taunton, the county town with its wide variety of facilities for both business and pleasure.

The hotel has 16 individually furnished bedrooms all fully en suite and of a standard associated with three star accommodation, including 2 specifically designed for wheelchair users. Lunches and dinners are served in the relaxed atmosphere of the Victorian restaurant.

The 5 function rooms provide the ideal venue for Corporate Conferences, corporate meetings, conferences, seminars and training, where the staff at the Shrubbery are always willing to tailor all events to the individual client's requirements and special requests.

The historic buildings and gardens provide the perfect setting for Weddings, and banquets, ensuring that that special occasion is a day to remember.
