Why Recycle?

Recycling reduces carbon emissions, both by saving energy in manufacturing processes and by avoiding the powerful greenhouse gas (methane) emitted from landfilled biodegradable waste, such as paper and food. Recycling also leads to other environmental benefits, such as conserving natural resources from forestry and mining and reducing other forms of pollution.
